The Ridley Special. Brooklands centenary book project

The Ridley Special at Brooklands. Designed in 1930 by Lord Ridley of Blagdon Hall Northumberland, it set new record speeds in 1931 at the Brooklands track.
Ron was commissioned for a book project to photograph almost the entire historic collection of cars, aircraft and motorcycles at Brooklands museum in Surrey. Taking nearly a year to complete, the complete collection of images are now published as a special book, “100 Years of Brooklands” the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation.
Published by Touchstone Books.
