Vickers FB27 Vimy

The world famous Vimy aircraft established it’s place in history by making the first non stop powered flight across the Atlantic piloted by Alcock and Brown.
Ron was commissioned for a book project to photograph almost the entire historic collection of cars, aircraft and motorcycles at Brooklands in Surrey. Taking nearly a year to complete, all the images are now published in a special book, “100 Years of Brooklands” the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation.
