Stormy day in New York City. Finalist in Association of photographers Open Awards 2020

This image was captured during a week producing imagery around New York for a personal project.
I woke up one morning to find the city in the grip of a storm which lasted most of the day. Not to be put off going out I covered the camera with waterproof protection and ventured out.
With the lens covered with clear plastic to shoot through coupled with a batch of fast film, I got the look I wanted for a series of images around the city in the rain.
