The 1891 Raleigh Model F Brooklands Centenary book collection
The 1891 Raleigh, one of the Earliest known “Raleigh’s”. To combat the rough roads of the period it had sprung front forks and a well sprung saddle. A front brake was fitted with the brake shoe working on top of the tyre.
Ron was commissioned for a book project to photograph almost the entire historic collection of cars, aircraft and motorcycles at Brooklands museum in Surrey. Taking nearly a year to complete, the complete collection of images are now published as a special book, “100 Years of Brooklands” the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation.
Published by Touchstone Books.
